Hello…

Welcome! I’m Nikki, the heart behind Ashwild Healing Arts & Wellness. My journey into healing work has been shaped by a deep belief in the power of connection, creativity, and embodied healing. Through somatic practices, intuitive guidance, and a trauma-informed approach, I help others reconnect with themselves, release what no longer serves them, and move toward a life of greater ease and wholeness

Why I Started Ashwild…

Ashwild Healing Arts & Wellness was born from my own journey of healing and self-discovery. I have lived with chronic pain and complex health challenges, which at times left me feeling disconnected from my body and struggling to find relief. Traditional approaches often failed to address the full picture, and I knew there had to be another way.

Through holistic practices, somatic therapy, and a deep commitment to self-healing, I began to shift my relationship with my body. Instead of fighting against it, I learned to listen—to work with it rather than against it. Over time, I found that by integrating somatic work, breathwork, creative expression, and mindful practices, I could bring my body to a place of healing. While chronic conditions don’t simply disappear, continuing my practice has transformed my life, making what once felt unbearable truly manageable.

I created Ashwild as a space for others to do the same—to explore healing in a way that honors the body’s wisdom, embraces the full spectrum of our experiences, and offers real, sustainable change. I have always wanted to help people, and through my own journey, I realized how vital it is to empower individuals in their own healing.

We live in a world that constantly asks us to disregard our own needs, where health and well-being are often afterthoughts. We are bombarded with conflicting information, at the mercy of "pain salesmen," navigating oversubscribed healthcare systems, and moving further and further away from our own intuition and bodies—distracted, disconnected, and disempowered. But I believe that when we reclaim our awareness, listen to our bodies, and take an active role in our healing, we can alleviate years of suffering. And, if we are proactive, we can prevent chronic issues and even permanent damage before they begin.

My Qualifications & Approach

I hold a Master’s in Childhood & Youth and a BA (Hons) in Arts & Humanities, giving me a strong foundation in human development, creativity, and the ways our early experiences shape us. My work is further grounded in a Level 3 Diploma in Somatic Therapy, Level 3 Diploma in Kinesiology, Level 3 Diploma in Breathwork allowing me to guide individuals in healing through body-based practices.

I have also completed training with MIND in Preventing Suicide, Positive Communication, Group Facilitation, and Mental Health Awareness, ensuring a compassionate and informed approach to emotional well-being. My experience extends into supporting parents and children, including training as a breastfeeding peer supporter and additional qualifications in child development, trauma-informed care, and family well-being.

I am continually expanding my knowledge and skill set, integrating new modalities to deepen the support I offer.
